About Us...

We are passionate about bringing the rich, vibrant flavors of African coffee beans to your cup. Our journey began with a simple mission: to share the unique and diverse coffee culture of Africa with the world.

Greg's Brew was founded by Jermaine Cobbs, a coffee enthusiast, who after a recent trip to Johannesburg, South Africa fell in love with the distinct taste and heritage of African coffee. We believe that every cup of coffee tells a story, and we are dedicated to ensuring that the story of African coffee is told with authenticity and respect. Our name is in honor of Jermaine's father, Gregory Cobbs who was also a coffee lover and encouraged Jermaine's entrepreneurial drive. Gregory lost his battle to renal carcinoma cancer in January 2025.

We source our beans from some of the finest coffee-growing regions in Africa, including Ethiopia, Kenya, and Tanzania. Each region offers its own unique flavor profile, from the bright, fruity notes of Ethiopian beans to the rich to the rich full-bodied taste of Tanzanian coffee. Our beans are carefully selected and roasted after your order is placed, to perfection to bring out their natural flavors and aromas.

In keeping with Greg's passion for helping others in need, we are committed to sustainability and ethical sourcing. We work directly with local farmers and cooperatives to ensure that they receive fair compensation for their hard work. By supporting sustainable farming practices, we aim to protect the environment and promote the well-being of the communities where our coffee is grown. To go a step further, we’ve selected ForAfrika.org an amazing Christian value-based organization dedicated to making life better for the children of Africa. In selecting ForAfrika, we’ve decided to donate $1 for every bag purchased to help the fight to improve conditions in Africa.

We strive to provide an exceptional coffee experience that not only delights the senses but also makes a positive impact on the world. Join us in celebrating the rich heritage and vibrant future of African coffee.
